Co/Pt nanomultilayers containing particles have smaller coercivity fields than their particle-free counterparts. Moreover, they also exhibit bi-axial magnetic anisotropy and a critical field at which the easy direction turns from parallel to perpendicular. (D.-E. Kim et al., August 16, Adv.
