Cover: Isoconversional kinetic analysis is applied to a stoichiometric system (E:A = 2:1) and a system with excess of amine (E:A = 1:2). The activation energy is ca. 50 kJ · mol−1 at E:A = 1:2, and increases to ca. 100 kJ · mol−1 at E:A = 2:1. The increase suggests that the two NH2 groups differ significantly in reactivity due to their different positions with respect to NO2. Further details can be found in the Full Paper by Y. Zhang and S. Vyazovkin* on page 1084.
