Guidelines for Cover Pictures and Frontispieces

Please send your suggestions for cover pictures or frontispieces directly to the /vch/journals/2002/2002_kont.html">Editorial Office. Please send good-quality (camera-ready) artwork on paper (high contrast, no dithering) or a TIFF file at 300 dpi. Please use CMYK colors, otherwise they may not reproduce as intended.

The circle on the cover of Angewandte has a diameter of 16.5 cm (6.5 in), see template). Please also send an explanatory text of no more than 500 characters. (/vch/journals/2002/cover/current.html">Example)

For a review or communication section frontispiece, the diameter is 18.5 cm (7.28 in). The latter should contain some text to arouse the readers' interest (84 mm wide, 7 lines).

Please print the electronic templates not to fit the page (uncheck this option in Acrobat's print dialog).

Also do not forget to sign and send back the Cost Confirmation.
