FRED A. MANUELE, CSP and PE. is President of Hazards Limited - the company he formed after retiring from Marsh & McLennan where he was a Managing Director and Manager of M&M Protection Consultants. His experience in the practice of safety spans more than a few decades. Mr. Manuele's books and articles have been adopted by several professors for undergraduate and graduate safety degree programs.

Mr. Manuele is a Fellow of the American Society of Safety Professionals and is a recipient of the National Safety Council's Distinguished Service to Safety Award. He is a former board member of ASSP, the National Safety Council, and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, where he also served as President. In 2013 he was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. In 2015, the University of Central Missouri presented him with its Distinguished Service Award. In 2016, he received The President's Award from the American Society of Safety Professionals "For dedication in advancing the practice of safety".
