The expanded eighth edition, complete with new materials and updated information on existing materials for chemical protective clothing.

This revised and updated eighth edition expands previous selection recommendations to the total number of 9,000 recommendations. The recommendations are based on the singular most comprehensive collection of chemical permeation and resistance data for chemical protective clothing

The Quick Selection Guide to Chemical Protective Clothing provides the most efficient tool for selecting appropriate protection against chemical exposure. Its three-step process enables users to quickly identify the barrier material offering the best chemical resistance for a specific chemical. Color-coded tables summarize the chemical breakthrough performance of barrier materials against more than 1,000 chemicals.

Selecting the most appropriate protective clothing is one of the most effective and efficient actions to prevent illness and injury from hazardous chemical exposure. It is critical to understand that the skin serves as a major entry route for chemicals into the body, causing risks such as cancer, genetic damage, skin irritation, burns, or sensitization.
