Professor Yoshida is former Present of The Society of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan and professor at Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University. His research interest focuses on integrated organic synthesis based on the control of reactive intermediates, organic electron-transfer reactions,Organometallic reactions, and microreactors. He sadly passed away in September, 2019.
Frédéric W. Patureau studied Biology at the University of Versailles, France, 2000-2002, and then Chemistry at the University of Paris-Sud Orsay (Bachelor degree (Licence) in 2003, France). He performed his Master degree in the group of Prof. H. B. Kagan and Prof. J.-C. Fiaud in 2005, and PhD degree at the Van't Hoff Institute for Molecular Sciences at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 2009. He was then a postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. F. Glorius at the University of Münster, Germany, with an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship. He started his independent research career (2011-2018) as a Junior professor of Organic Chemistry and Organometallic Catalysis at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany. Since October 2018, he is Professor of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the RWTH Aachen University.
