Detailed description
The Official Commemorative Book Of The 2007 Masters Tournament

Steady Zach Johnson, playing in only his third Masters Tournament, edged out Tiger Woods, Retief Goosen, and Rory Sabbatini by two strokes with a closing 3-under-par 69 to win the title. His 1-over-par 289 tied him with Sam Snead and Jack Burke Jr. for the highest winning score in Masters history. The faith and determination that propelled him through years of playing his way to golf's highest level had taken him to his first Masters victory.

Now you can relive all the action of the 2007 Masters, including the thrilling victory by Zach Johnson, who, thanks to a cool head and skillful negotiation of the second nine, won his first Green Jacket. Written from the golfers' perspectives and filled with stunning full-color photographs, the 2007 Masters Annual features revealing stories on the leading participants, a recap of the pre-Tournament Par 3 Contest, and a detailed account of each round as it unfolded, as well as:

From the contents
Message From the Chairman.

Monday-Wednesday: Mickelson, Woods Building New Rivalry (Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods Appear on the verge of building a Masters rivalry like Sam Snead and Ben Hogan, and Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus did in the past)

Round One: Rose, Wetterich Take Different Paths to Lead (Brett Wetterich used lessons from past champions and Justin Rose used past experiences at Augusta National Golf Club to take the first-round lead with scores of 69. They were the only players in the field to break 70)

Round Two: Clark, Wetterich Make Field Take Notice (Under firm, fast conditions, 2006 runner-up Tim Clark shot a second 71 and Brett Wetterich shot a 73 for a two-under-par 142 total after 36 holes. They held a one-stroke lead over Augusta's Vaughn Taylor.

Round Three: Appleby Tries to Make History (Although no Australian has ever won the Masters, Stuart Appleby shot 73 and took the 54-hole lead with a two-over-par 218 total. He hopes to break that streak but knows tiger Woods and Justin Rose are just one stroke back.

Round Four: Johnson Calls Victory "Surreal" (Steady Zach Johnson, playing in only his third Masters Tournament, shot a sparkling three-under-par 69 and totaled a record-tying high score of 289. It was good enough for a two-stroke victory over Tiger Woods, Retief Goosen, and Rory Sabbatini)

The Champion : Faith (Through all the years of playing his way to golf's highest level, Zach Johnson never lost faith in his ability or his faith in God and family. The belief resulted in his first Masters title and a lifetime of memories.
