This journal is the news magazine of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft - DFG, a major German foundation supporting research work of all disciplines. As in forschung, its German equivalent, every issue covers arts and humanities as well as the many fields of natural science. The articles are written for an audience of specialists and non-specialists alike and are superbly illustrated.
