physica status solidi b – basic solid state physics is devoted to topics such as theoretical and experimental investigations of the atomistic and electronic structure of solids in general, phase transitions, electronic and optical properties of low-dimensional, nano-scale, strongly correlated, or disordered systems, superconductivity, magnetism, ferroelectricity etc.

The 2011 Impact Factor of physica status solidi (b) is 1.316. The Immediacy Index has increased by 20% to 0.525 in 2011, proving that pss (b) articles are cited faster than ever.
