The series offer reviews on the functional groups in analytical, physical, synthetic and applied chemistry. Volumes from The Chemistry of Functional Groups contain chapters on general and theoretical aspects, computational approaches, thermodynamics and kinetics, mass spectrometry, reaction mechanisms and other aspects of the field. This specific four-volume set is edited by Professor Zvi Rappoport.
