His research interests include ferroelectricity, phase transitions as well as materials physics in general.

Professor Jiménez is a member of the Spanish Royal Society of Physics and Spanish Materials Society. He has directed many Spanish and European Research Projects. His research interests include, among other things, ferro-piezoelectric materials.
