Dr. Qingfeng Yan is a tenured Associate Professor of Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University, China. His current research interests focus on functional single crystals and materials chemistry. He has published over 140 papers in peer-reviewed journals which have received over 2000 citations. He is a member of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Council, Chinese Materials Research Society (CMRS)-Youth Branch. He was a Guest Editor for "Unconventional Lithography Focus Collection", Nanotechnology. He is now serving as an Editorial Board Member for Scientific Reports and Crystals.

George Zhao is Professor of School of Chemical Engineering of The University of Queensland, Australia. He is also the Director of Institute of Materials for Energy and Environment, Qingdao University, China. Professor Zhao has outstanding contributions to the chemistry of porous materials for adsorptive and catalytic applications and porous carbon materials for energy storage. He is also internationally known for his achievements on fundamental understanding of self-assembly of colloidal microspheres and developing new methods for the fabrication of three-dimensional colloidal photonic crystals and functional devices. Professor Zhao is a Thomson Reuters highly cited researcher in 2016 and 2018, Fellow of The Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Fellow, UQ Vice-Chancellor`s Research and Teaching Fellow, and was ARC Future Fellow.
