He worked in the industry for Weyerhauser Comnpany and Georgie-Pacific Corp. asSenior Scientist and Senior Development Chemist respectively. Until his retirement he served as Professor at the Mississippi State University and taught among others the course on "Adhesives and Finishes for Wood".
