Advanced Genetics is a peer-reviewed, broad-scope, open-access journal dedicated to advancing gene-related research with a recently expanded scope. It includes not only human, animal, plant, and microbial genetics, genomics, and epigenomics, but also topics that employ genetic, omics technologies, bioinformatics, computational biology, and artificial intelligence as toolboxes for discovery and innovation.
We welcome submissions that explore fundamental, applied, clinical, and translational research and aim to address critical scientific and societal challenges. These include improving food security and sustainable agriculture, conserving biodiversity and ecosystem health, improving human health and welfare, and promoting global One Health initiatives and their outcomes.
Submissions can be made under our flexible article content type: original research, featuring novel findings, methods, software tools, case reports, or data resources; reviews and perspectives providing in-depth analyses and forward-looking insights; editorials and comments addressing broad scientific, ethical, and policy issues; and meeting reports, summarizing key discussions, outcomes and future directions.
