ChemSystemsChem is an interdisciplinary journal publishing high-impact peer-reviewed research in out-of-equilibrium self-assembly, chemical networks and chemical ensembles with emergent properties, such as movement, communication and collective behaviour, working together in minimal metabolisms, artificial cells and self-synthesising chemical factories, and including method development and theoretical modelling. It is published on behalf of Chemistry Europe, an association of 16 European chemical societies.

ChemSystemsChem adds value to the current literature by providing comprehensive coverage on all aspects of systems chemistry, ranging from synthetic biology to biophysics, methods and theory.
