Dr. Sami Alnuaim is a distinguished petroleum engineer with over 30 years of experience at Saudi Aramco, where he has held leadership roles in reservoir engineering, production, R&D, and upstream IT operations. He served as the 2019 President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), becoming only the second Saudi Aramco engineer to lead the global organization. Dr. Alnuaim holds BS and MS degrees from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He has completed executive programs at Wharton and Penn State, published over 300 articles, holds patents, and teaches at KFUPM, actively shaping the future of energy through his work in sustainability, innovation, and education
