Anke Krüger is currently Professor of Organic Chemistry at University of Würzburg. After her postdoc at Toyohashi University of Technology with Professor Eiji Osawa, she became a researcher at the Otto-Diels-Institute of Organic Chemistry in Kiel in 2002, and a Junior Professor in 2007 at the same institution befofe moving to Würzburg in 2008.
Among her numerous awards are the PhD scholarship of the Fonds of the Chemische Industrie, JSPS/Feodor-Lynen Scholarship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Liebig Habilitation Scholarship of the Fonds der Chemischen Industrie and the ADUC Jahrespreis für Habilitanden.
