Andrea Mele is Full Professor of Chemistry at the Politecnico of Milano. Italy. After his undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Genova, Italy he got his Ph.D in chemistry at the same university. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory board of the European Cyclodextrin Society, and vice-president of the Italian Association for Chemistry and Technology of Cyclodextrin. At present he has about 150 peer reviewed papers, many of them focusing on NMR studies of cyclodextrins.
